Knightrider, Streethawk or Airwolf - MonkeyFunk
which was best??
Knightrider, Streethawk or Airwolf - John R @ Work {P}
None of the above... (Especially Airwolf as it was not a land motoring vehicle.)

Best motoring based TV program (IMHO) was...

...MY MOTHER THE CAR.

The A-Team van!

All that gunfire and not one bullet hole! Now that's impressive!

Knightrider, Streethawk or Airwolf - Rob the Bus {P}
No contest, MonkeyFunk. Knight Rider wins hands down. I used to dream (and still do if the truth be known) of having my own KITT. Ah, the memories - the theme tune still brings out goosebumps whenever I hear it!

Cheers

My first car was a Renault 25 TXi (talking synth option) BECAUSE of Knight Rider.

Boasting or complaining?

Blue Thunder, much better than Airwolf

The next time you're in the Lake District, visit members.aol.com/cotsmm/cots.html

I think they have a KITT and they certainly have an A-Team van.

Was the Fall Guy's GMC truck secretly responsible for the SUV craze that's now happening?
Knightrider, Streethawk or Airwolf - Liverpaul
Non of the above. Best of the lot by a long way IMHO - The Dukes of Hazzard. Just think, General Lee, Flash, Amusing driving on dirt roads and Daisy Duke, and not necessarily in that order!

Paul.
Knightrider, Streethawk or Airwolf - Clanger
Dukes of Hazzard, definitely.

Barbara Bach, mmmmmmmm, cute.

As for "My Mother, the Car"; you need help, friend.

It's a s4it car in terms of reliability but it was a beautifil ride AND the voice synth was useful .. All you who complain about it bugging for a 'rear left lightbulb not working"... hit the 'Shut up" button!!!

lol

i would concur with the A-Team van it kicked pink fluffy dice!!!

Face\'s corvette looks a bit dodgy now though!!

i also forgot about the Genral Lee - another fine car!!!

i owned a Renault 11 TXE electronic - that was like KITT with digi dash and talking computer, such fine 80\'s technology

although it was annoying if you had a brake light bulb out

every time you pressed the brake!!! you\'d get a reminder grrrr

most annoying!!!

I'm not sure if I can link to a picture, but this is the result of a couple of episodes: www.javelinamx.com/CarStars/truck1.jpg

What about Herbie ???

Surely a 19(whatever) year car with a 40ish horse power engine that regualy races and beats a porsche is the best.

KITT Pahh !! Herbie had the ability to drive sideways, split himself in 2, and fall in love with other cars ( a lombo if I remember right ), and turn his spare wheel into a pizza.

But Daisy Duke ooooooooooooooh.

Anorak on, it's a 1963 VW, 34bhp and the car it fell in love with was a Lancia Monte Carlo.

Was Daisy Duke with hotpants really suitable viewing for kids on a Saturday afternoon? I never complained, obviously.
Knightrider, Streethawk or Airwolf - AR-CoolC
Nice anorak.

I couldn\'t remember the year, and now you\'ve told me I remember it was a Lancia ( I knew it was italian ).

Knightrider, Streethawk or Airwolf - Altea Ego
Sweeney, more time spent in, eating in, sitting on, standing by and chasing other cars than any series I remember.

And then there was bogie and boil in the ford RS's

But daisy duke was a whole new ball game..................

How about British TV series:

Frank Spencer's Morris Minor?

Mr. Bean's Mini?

Del Boy's Reliant Regal Van or Ford Capri Ghia?

Noddy's Fiat? Fiat made a convertible variant of its 500 that lloked like Noddy's car!

Barbara Bach, mmmmmmmm, cute.

Actually it was Catherine Bach, not Barbara Bach. Barbara Bach was in The Spy Who Loved Me, not that my head is filled with Trivia.

Which brings me nicely to the Esprit in that film,

Was it the best Bond car? It had more features then the DB5.
