Thought I'd have a look on www.ford.co.uk to see pics and details of the Mondeo facelift.
I was surprised to find that there's not a mention of the facelift, not even in the news section, and all the Mondeo pages show the now old model.
Is it too much to ask for a large multi-national company such as Ford UK to actually update their website!

Even more ammunition for me to slag them off.
Rant over.

Is the facelift version bieng sold here yet?
If not then they won't put it on the website otherwise people won't but the old model and will just wait for the new one.

It doesn't surprise me.

For example, Ford didn't post the price list for Fiestas (prices valid to 30th May) until something like the 21st May. And the current price list for Focuses just crashes when you try to download it. And the news section (Company / News / Latest News) has only got two articles written this year. Need I go on?

Unlike most good websites, Ford don't publish a contact email address so you can't point out the website's failings.

One of the slowest and poorly designed web sites I have come accross.
You have to be impressed, when you eventually find your way through about seven layers to Focus accessories - rear spoiler specification for the 3/5 door less BREAK light.
Of course they do not want to supply an Email address as that would be open season for complaints.
Slow though it is, it is useful for getting service costs without phoning the dealer and some intersting variations can be found. Focus service £220 locally vs £150 50 miles from me.

Agreed, Fords web site is by a long mile the very worst I have come across in the car industry. Slow, miriad layers, pop up browser windows, poorly laid out, very hard to get the info you need and time consuming. I bet with its complexity it cost a fortune tho.

Can't believe I'm about to join in with Ford bashing here but... I agree.

It's useful for getting particular car specs though, I used the "Build Your Own" feature when researching the specs of the Fiesta Zetec.

Was very useful, I was able to feign surprise that the car had no A/C when I sat in it. Ended up looking much less interested in the car and getting a much better deal as a result, when I actually knew the car inside out including every available option, specification and relevant prices. :-)

Not the greatest site in thw world by a long way, but if you've got the skill and paitience (which shouldn't be necessary) then it can have it's uses.
