Hi,

I have booked a garage to change an old tyre with wheel alignment service.

I wonder if I could ask the garage to exchange my other tyres position before the front wheel alightment service is performed.

How much does a garage charge (on average) to exchange tyres position?

If you want them to do the job, why don’t you ask them . Seems logical to me. If you ask them nicely, they will probably do it for nothing if you are spending money with them .

I am pleasantly surprised at how cheap things can be at places like ATS. I recently bought one new tyre, scrapped an ancient one and exchanged one of the other three. After buying the tyre online, the whole operation cost about £65.

If you are swopping all tyres round, it is simple for them to hoist the car and take all four off, putting them wherever you want, in about 10 minutes. That doesn't include tracking of course, which will cost a bit more.
