BMW 3 Series E46 - Day insure or full policy and cancel, test driving

BMW 3 Series E46 - Day insure or full policy and cancel, test driving - Babygotoo
Evening,

Looking at a car tomorrow so need insurance, if all goes well I will need to get train next week to go get it.

Two lots of day insurance is more than one month of a full policy.

So, is it ok to take the full policy out and cancel it if tomorrow doesn't go well, and on the bright side if it does go well I'm covered for 12 months?

I don't see that it makes any difference where the car is.

Going wth the cheaper option makes sense, but make sure you really can cancel wthout any penalties.
