Peugeot 307 - Jamesharry
I have a new Peugeot 307 and have steering wheel tremor at about 70-75 mph. It feels as though the balance needs doing, so had the wheels balanced, new drive shafts, steering rack dampner adusted (made the steering stiff!) but still there.

Is this "normal" or is it a problem?

It's been suggested that the tyres don't agree with the car?

16" wheels with 205/55/16 Good Year NCTs - standard equipment - not added.

Or is it something really simple?

Any help would be great cheers.

How new? Could be brake discs, although they're unlikely to be covered by the warranty unless very new.

Take it back to the supplying dealer, explain that they've not yet solved the problem and hand them the keys.
Tell them politely but firmly that you would like notifying when the vehicle is fixed and not before, also mention that you will be asking Peugeot Customer Service to intervene if they do not sort the problem this time.

Good luck, however, if Peugeot garages are as poor as my experience of Ford garages then god help you!
