Ford Focus 2006 Mk2 1.6 LX Petrol - Diagnostic Test Codes (DTCs) meaning - Help pls? - dac1

Hi,
I have just performed the Instrument Cluster Self-Diagnostic Mode on my Ford Focus 2006 Mk2 1.6 LX Petrol.
I took note of the DTC codes. The other details, such as speed and temp, etc.., I am not interested in.

I have been experiencing an Powertrain light showing intermittently and was hoping this self-diagnostic test would enlighten me to the problem. It is due to see a mechanic soon but I am keen to help get to the problem.

The test returned a number of DTC codes. On my car the the odometer showed 'dtc' then flashed the acutal DTC code, the flashed 'dtc' again then the next code. Anyway, please can someone help give me the name/problem for each code? My DTC codes are:
E200
A103
9602
9600
E197
9318
d147

Thanks for the efforts but I've already come across this (or a page the that has the same content). The DTCs I have, through using the odometer, do not have a 'P' in front of them and looking up the number, excluding the P, doesn't show my codes.

You will need the use of a proper scan tool that plugs into the obd socket to get any meaningful data .

That's sensible advice re diagnostics. I recommend Forscan available on

Internet auction sites. This gives more info that is helpful and you can reset dtc and see if it comes back. Can get if for around £20 if you have a lap top. can post link if you need one.
