Mercedes-Benz B-Class B180 Petrol 2014 - Automatic gearbox oil change interval - csgmart

Does anyone know what the recommended oil change mileage is for an automatic gearbox in a B Class?

I plan to call the manufacturer some time soon but wondered if anyone knew it off hand or had access to the correct information.

I am thinking about keeping the car beyond it's 4th year and I'd like to know if there will be any costs associated with a higher than planned mileage. Car is currently on 36k miles and I would probably take it up to 60k.

That would be every 37,500 miles or 5 years, whichever comes first. Change oil and filter (Transmission 722.8)

Interesting. I eventually called my local dealer who informed me it is every 5 years and 62,500 miles. I think I need to talk to another dealer to see if they also give me the same mileage figure.

Suggest you contact MB HQ in MK who confirmed eventually that theyt recommend once at 37500 miles. Be prepared for a lenghty wait

I didn't check your model year close enough, instead thinking you would have similar to mine.

I have a 2011 with the 722.8 which is 37,500 or 5 years.

A 2014 would make yours a W246 with a 724.0 transmission so 5yrs/62,500miles would be correct.

No worries - I managed to locate my service book in the end and that also confirms 5 years / 62,000 miles.
