MOT in Wimborne area - John

I was just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for an MOT tester in the Wimborne -> Poole area. My experience of MOT testers is that they are a bit of a lottery.

1 in Bournemouth?

I have taken all our cars to Parkstone MOT Centre. John Warwick has given me a written report on items that will not last the year out in the past.
He is ONLY MOT no repairs so you pay the full MOT rate so axe to grind.
Been using his services for at least 12 years.

Just an interested comment. I had thought that the Dept of Transport MOT rules & regs insisted on any MOT licencee having repair facilities in order to carry out those repairs required by customers. Have the rules changed ?

The rules haven't changed, non repair stations have always existed. (See the earlier thread on MOT's)
