Citroen C4 (2011) - Internal ventilation fan not working - eShov

Having been sat on the drive for 2 weeks over Christmas, my wife went to drive her C4 only to discover that it seems to have developed a fault with the internal ventilation fan. None of the settings on fan speed produce any air. The lights on the fan controls are still visible and the AC and recirculation options are selectable.

I'm wondering if it is a fuse, but the vehicle handbook does not state the location of the fuse for the fan.

Reading elsewhere this appears to be a common fault on older C4 models. Our C4 is 4 years old (facelift) so this sort of fault seems unusual.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Could be anything,but if other french makes are anything to go on,then the fan motor or speed regulator is likely to be at fault.

Charge battery, do a BSI reset.

Dear Ed,

I have the exact problem with my 2011 Citroen C4.
Left it for approx. 2 weeks and now the fan for the AC unit is not working.

May I ask if you found the solution for this problem?
