Bulbs?
It's not that uncommon for two tail light bulbs to blow at once.

The dash lights were probably disturbed when the mileage was wound back. ;o)

1 - Could be 2 separate problems. Need to rule out the obvious first.
2 - Dash lights have no connection with side lights. Or does mean sidelights on indicator light?

i dont think its 2 seperate problems.the bulbs are ok.2 elaborate on the problem, the rear sidelights-the dash lights-the glovebox lights and the lights left on ding are all gone.

It's probably the light switch itself (or the plug on the back of it). Do the sidelights work when you switch it to the parking light position ?

problem solved!!! the plug at the back of the light switch was the culprit .thanks all, keep up the good work.
