Vauxhall Vectra C - Advice on adjusting main (full) beam. - p4ulr7der

Hi All,

I have a 2006 Vectra "facelift" model. I am looking for advice on how to adjust the Main or Full Beam.

The normal dipped beams are set perfectly, and can be adjusted internally depending on load. However, the main beam alignment is terrible.

When I opt for main beam on country roads I light up the TREETOPS!!!!!

I can see the adjusters for the dipped beam part of the headlamp unit, but cannot see any adjustment for the main beam, which is of course the inner bulb unit and seperate to the dipped beam outer unit.. The bulbs appear to be seated correctly and flush.

Any advice would be greatly received.

Paul.

If it's a seperate lamp then there must be adjusters much the same as your dipped beam part of the lamp. Failing that check to make sure the bulb is correctly fitted.

There are no adjusters for main beam on this model.they are preset by the construction of the lamp. Are the reflectors detached in the lamp unit or are the bulbs in upside down?

All seems secure. Will have a proper look tomorrow when off work. May remove headlamp units for a better look. Thanks

Cannot see any adjusters. Just clips into mounting. Bulbs in flush and clamped.
