Hi ...was hoping some of you techie / mechanic guys could give me a few pointers re// my old 2002 2.0l ( TDDI ) 260 transit . .. My problem is the turbo is wrecked and my van is billowing thick clouds of white smoke ? ..i know it is the turbo as i have took off the flexi pipe and put my finger into the impeller spindle and it is totally walloping from side to side and has lost all power and boost ! .. The old van has served me well and the body is still in reasonable condition and in my opinion worth fixing .. my engine is the 2002 model 2.0l TDDI ( DURATORQ ) high roof swb ..I have 2 questions 1. will a second hand turbo from a 2 litre tddi Mondeo fit ? and do i have to "drop" the engine out of the van to change it ? the turbo is located at the back of the engine on the van and it looks kinda cramped in there ? <*** style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border-width: 0px; color: #333333; font-family: 'Lucida Grande', 'Trebuchet MS', Verdana, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.200000762939453px; background-color: #e1ebf2;" title="Sad" src="http://fordtransit.org/forum/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> .. any suggestions apart from paying some one else to do it would be appreciated ... cheers guys !
