Ford Transit - radio code - kai3000

Hi all - I am in need of a code for my transit radio - ford wanted to charge £18 which I think a bit excessive. My serial no is m253633 and part no: ys6f-18k876-da. can anyone please help? also I am currently locked out of this thing (my jedi guessing skills were weak) but i have heard that there is a number sequence that you can press to give you one last go. Any info on either of the above greatly appreciated. many thanks in advance. Kai

How many attempts have you had at the code?what does the radio displaty show?

locked XX .Anything above 10 and it will need to be unlocked electronically.

Important information for anyone who is looking for FORD CAR RADIO KEYCODES

1. For radios whose Serial Number begins with an "M", followed by a six digit number, you can use the following link to work out what your Keycode should be:

2. For radios whose Serial Number begins with a "V", followed by a six digit number, I'm afraid there is no Keycode generator available for you to work out the code yourself.

You will either need to visit your local Ford Main Dealer, or there are sellers on Ebay who claim they can supply the Keycodes for "V" Serial Numbers, for a fee.
