If you live near a branch of National Tyres they'll do you an oil & filter change using Duckhams QXR for £15.
I printed off a coupon from the picture of the press ad on their website and used that. You can see it under the January specials section.

Halford's is thinner, it's a 5W 40, more economical when cold and quicker to circulate to the top end.

OK if it's an approved grade for your engine, no good if not.
By the way, I recently bought 15 litres of the Halfords oil at the discounted price. My thanks to the backroomer who put us onto this deal.
