vw touran 2005 - indicator fault - holymoses

hope someone can help! I have a2005 vw touran, with an indicator fault. light operates ok in l/h position but when i operate r/h turn the left side lights flash, nothing from r/h. if i press hazard switch all flasers work ok, proving bulbs and earths ok. i have removed rear light clusters to chek wiring, seems ok

May be worth disconnecting the battery for 10 mins to see if the system re-sets,as all the lighting functions are controlled electronically.hth

Seen a few of these now,same as Golf,indicator switch faulty.
