Citroen C5 - C5 Suspension - pinheadplanet

Hi

I bought a new shape C5 (after owning the original for 5 years) and I can't help but feel that there's something amiss with the suspension. What's happening is that instead of the suspension moving up and down from the front axle to the back it seems move from left to right a bit too much creating a bit of seasickness!

Slightly hard to describe properly now I'm having to write it down but if you're going over uneven road (which let's be honest is most urban roads) then you get tossed from left to right a bit in the seat. Even when I put it in Sport mode suspension I can't really notice a diiference.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Presumably its on hydraulic suspension, not all of the new shape are.

If so is it at normal ride height, if you've got it set at the higher ride height setting it will ride rougher.

Yeah, it's an Exclusive so it has the Hydraulic system. It is on normal ride height.

I have noticed this problem with the earlier C5s, I have run XMs for the last 15 years and BXs and CXs before that, although the C5 ride is good they do seem to pitch from side to side on an uneven road surface, seems to me that the anti roll bar is to thick, you could check by disconnecting on of the drop links and trying it.

That's the short bars that are behind the wheels right?

Between the anti roll bar and the suspension, ball joint on each end.
