Mercedes-Benz C-Class - MB w203 2006 Injectors' noise!! - Hicham

I have this Mercedes Benz w203 C220 Model 2006 (333.000 on clock). Everything seems to be working properly: no smoke, no leaks, no major faults. It drives fine. The only problem I have is with the noise that is coming from the area of injectors. When it is in P mode or N mode, the noise quiets down, but when I engage the D mode the noise comes again. Also, the noise comes clear only at first and second great levels, then it fades away as the car moves faster. I uploaded a video to Youtube and attached the link below for you guys to hear how it sounds. I have already changed one injector and the spray heads of the other three. Changed oil and all filters. Does anybody know what could the problem be? Thanks a lot.

Assuming the noise is diesel knock, and it is quite difficult to tell from your video, the fuel injector nozzles are quite entitled to be worn with over 330k miles on the clock. Personally I'd live with it if the engine is otherwise running ok.

I would agree, if it drives OK and doesn't smoke I would leave it alone.

You could get the injectors checked and pressure tested by an independent diesel specialist. If they are OK then the noise is coming from something else.
