Ford C-MAX 1.6 TDCi 08 plate - Ford Focus Cmax Additive Tank Control Module P1922 - AndyW27

Hi All, can anyone help please? I get a p1922 from the FACM and I'd like to know what the FACM is expecting to see on the level sensor wire...is it a voltage or a resistance. has anyone ever used a resistor etc to bypass the sensor and fool the FACM to avoid getting the 'Engine Malfunction' message after every start. I would be really grateful if anyone could advise please....

Many Thanks.

Is there actually a shortage of additive or some other real fault which lights up the engine malfunction message? If so, would it not be better to fix the fault?

I've made sure the tank is full, ran a line purge and reset the level in the FACM so I'm sure it's a fault with the level sensor. As there's only 1 wire for it, I'm guessing it just needs a certain resistance between the ground and the wire?
