Don't worry too much, though there's no harm in ringing them to check.
I took out house insurance with Admiral a few years back, in days of yore when there was no facility for accessing a policy online and everything was done through the post on hard copy. When the paperwork didn't arrive within the stated three or four days I panicked and took out cover with another company, fearing that Admiral had messed up.
I rang Admiral to complain and cancel, and was told that the policy was up and running and the paperwork had simply been delayed in the post.
I went back to Admiral for home insurance a couple of years back, and to be honest, I can't fault them, though the rub of what constitutes good insurance cover obviously comes if and when you make a claim.
Edit: I see you've already sorted it. Good news.
