Hi all,

Would anyone know or be able to provide a code for a Ford Fiesr Finnese on a 03 reg?

I removed the battery from the car to charge it but now it is asking for the code again

You are going to need the serial number before any one can provide a pass code.It will be an M followed by 6 digits.

You need the radio serial number. Without that, nobody can help.

Hi any chance I can give you my serial number, was checking my fuse for the cigarette lighter and like a plonker I pulled out all sort got them all back in now but locked the radio up. My serialnumber is M573238 please.

FP : you gripe when people don't phrase their request in what you consider an appropriate manner. You gripe when they don't say 'thankyou' as promptly as you think they should, or if they don't say thankyou at all.

Here's a novel solution for you : don't bother looking at these threads if you're going to be such a grouch about it. People like Galaxy, Elekie doc, myself, and the others who do so will continue to answer the requests, because we like helping people out.

Yes, the 'thanks' replies are nice to get. But if that's your sole motivation, and you're going to throw your toys out of the pram if they don't happen, then just don't bother.

Sorry, RJP - it just grates.

Like not replying to e-mails, texts or whatever, or not returning phone calls. How hard is it?

Of course no-one does anything for someone just because they expect to be thanked, but I was brought up to use "please" and "thank you" as a matter of course. I don't see why it's unreasonable to expect it in others - it's common courtesy. Or do we have to accept that this has gone out of the window?

If I'm a bit grouchy, blame it on the fact I'm recovering from recent surgery.

My post might have been a bit harsh. My apologies if so.

Yes, it does grate a little at times. But ten of those are more than made up for when someone comes back on and just says "Thanks, my wife / GF / whatever has been griping about no radio for ages, now they're happy !" or the equivalent.

I still open doors for random strangers, pull in on narrow lanes to let people past (I'm a rebel, and a disgrace to BMW drivers across the country when I do so), and most people say thanks, or raise a hand in thanks. Some don't, but hell, that only reflects on them, not me.
