Does anyone know the n46 recall a few years back is now sorted?

ie if i buy a 2005-8 model can i get a eu approved tow bar fitted

AFAIK - the affected model years needed a redesigned rear cross member for which no EU Type Approved towbar was may available - affected model years already fitted with an EU Type Approved didn't need the redesigned rear cross-member.
