Landrover Discovery 2 TD5 ES auto. - Which tyres - strickjumpers

Hello, Need to buy 4 new tires for MOT, old ones have perished General grabbers but new ones are expensive considering fuel, wet grip and noise ratings, looking for more road type, and looking to enhance terrible handling, any recommendations? many thanks, mike

If you want good handling sell the Disco and buy a newer car. On a car as old as that it will probably be more tha tyres that are causing the problem and in any event they were never a sports car when new..

Landrover Discovery 2 TD5 ES auto. - Which tyres - Metropolis.

As it's an ES I would expect it to have Active Cornering Enhancement? It replaces anti-roll bars with a hydraulic system. Disco 2's with ACE had less body roll than a contemporary X5!!

Toyo Open Country HT, good value road biased mud and snow tyre. Excellent on the road grip wet or dry.
