I have seen pictures of this occasionally in car mags over the past year or so, and have to say, i love the idea of it, not to mention the unconventional looks!. Turning something so resolutely old, in style and design, into an electric car is a work of genius. And while a 150 mile range is not that much, especially once you translate that into the likely 'actual' range, which is probably likely to be more like 80-100 miles, it will still be ample for the type of running one of these will get.
The existing 3 wheeler is without a doubt one of my favourite cars, you can keep your ferrari's, lamborghini's, mclaren's etc, i'll take a morgan 3 wheeler (in green, with the 'teeth'!). I remember Richard Hammond taking one on one of the 'challenges' on top gear and thought it looked absolutely brilliant. Seeing him getting one up on May and (esp) Clarkson in the 'donut challenge' was particularly amusing. Though i must confess, while i would expect an ignoramous like Clarkson to not understand why the morgan was so good at donuts, i thought May would have realized that being front engined, rear drive, with only one (relatively narrow) rear wheel would make it much easier to break traction then his caterham or Clarksons ktm x bow.
