FORD MONDEO 1.8 LX 2005 - IDENTIFY ENGINE - greybeard

Driver's handbook lists two Duratec 1.8 HE engines, rated at 81 KW or 92 KW.

Does anyone know how I can identify which engine I have? My engine number is 5K68612.

Your V5 will tell you the engine output.

No, seriously if you want to know which engine is fitted to your car, or anything else about the specification, the easiest way is to go to the Ford Etis website:

www.etis.ford.com/

Just click on "Vehicle" and type in your Registration or VIN number and your car details will come up showing absolutely every fitment and option installed at the time it left the Ford factory.
