Micra K12 - Heated Rear Screen/Demister - Vic7

I bought the car at the beginning of the week and I'm trying to fix the known faults. Can anybody advise me where the fuse is located on this? It may not be the fuse but as a place to start it seems obvious. I know its not in the below dash, in the cabin or the engine. So were could it be hiding and also the relay if there is one in the circuit?. Failing not finding them to be at fault, how does the switch come out.. Any help would be appreciated.

The fuse box locations are in the cabin,driver side,and engine bay ,next to yhe battery and/or under the left side headlight(impossible to access) without removing part of the bumper and light..My info shows fuse for hrw in cabin fuse box.Have you checked connections to the rear glass.These break off very easily.Also the wiring fractures where it runs from body to the tailgate.

My thanks for your reply.

All fuses in the cabin box check ed and are ok. There is no pilot light showing when the switch is pressed. I don't know enough about electrics. If there was a break in the tailgait wiring or conector fault, would the switch light up or not?

No pilot light in the switch tends to suggest the circuit is dead.Broken wire at the back will not cause this,unless it has shorted out and blown a fuse.Just behind the cabin fusebox there are 2 relays,one is for the heater blower motor but not sure what the other is.I think more in depth investigation will be needed.

Trouble is that there seems to be a lack of precise info on this aspect i.e. where is the fuse located? is there relay in the circuit & if so where etc, etc?
