VW beetle 1998 - VW Beetle full beam fault

VW beetle 1998 - VW Beetle full beam fault - ilove-VWs
Can anyone solve this mystery my 1998 Beetle's Full beam has stopped working with the headlights on ... The full beam will only work if the headlights are switched off!! Does anyone have any idea what is going on thank you

VW beetle 1998 - VW Beetle full beam fault - elekie&a/c doctor

Firstly i would check fuses.End of dash,driver side by the door shut.If these are ok,you need to drop the lower dash panel below steering wheel to check the connections to the lighting logic relay located behind the main light switch.
