Renault 19 1.4 1993 - Renault 19 high biting point - KCSRenault

Hello,

Now spring is coming i have taken my renault 19 out of hibernation, but after driving an automatic for the last wee while noticed the clutch biting point is high. I had a mechanic test the clutch to make it slip and it wont. Also the clutch was replaced not that long ago, car has only done 43,000, clutch at 34,000. And i am definately not hard on the clutch. anyway.

Does any one no if these cables can be adjusted or is it new cable time.

I had a Peugeot 406 that I bought with a high clutch pedal with the suggestion that it was on its way out, I ran it for about 50,000 miles and it never got any worse. If it doesn't slip I wouldn't worry about it.
