Vauxhall Meriva 2007 - Vauxhall Meriva EPS and CCU fault - DON DON
Vauxhall have just paid and replaced my steering column but it has not cured the problem and they now advise a new central control,unit is required at a cost of £900 which is not covered under the lifetime warranty. Has anyone else had the same problem, I don't want to pay out £900 if it won't fix the EPS fault.

Tell the dealer in writing that if the problem is not solved you do not expect to be charged for them "trying things", and speak to customer services so that they can send an engineer to the main dealer.

I suggest you ask the dealership to provide, in writing, exactly what parts they intend to replace, and why they are not covered under the warranty.
