Sachs brake pads terrible! - fv43576

My Fiat Panda's 1.2 2005 front brake pads is not great, it feels sort like a soft pedal under hard braking and more effort to stop quickly than the previous pads was with when I bought the car, the name of pads is made by Sachs are this the rubbish one? I got it from Eurocarparts for £13.99 it has been fit 2 months ago with approximant 2,000 miles and I'm still not happy how it goes. I have already got a new brake fluid and new disc so there is nothing wrong my brake system. I will have to buy other one a better quality pads for better to stop in good distance. There is three names of company to choose is EBC greenstuff, Ferodo and Mintex.

Has anyone ever try those three manufacturers name? I do not care about more dust on my alloy wheels and the price if it is expensive.

The heat range/performance of OE pads is carefully matched to the car - better performance pads often requires track temperatures and offer poor braking from cold, a common occurrence on the road.

Unless the car is used for frequent track days, "better performance" is a myth in ordinary road conditions.

Stick with Fiat standard pads, I doubt you'll save much going elsewhere.

It's hardly worth buying copy parts at that price

I do seem to remember that a long time ago if I needed parts for my Fiat Uno the dealers were very reasonable
