Few companies would have expected to see a Maserati on choice lists, but the new Ghibli competes on size and price with the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series, Jaguar XF and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. It also comes with a six-cylinder diesel engine, and feels as luxurious as any premium brand model. It will be tough to break into the market against the well-established rivals, but could be appealing to company directors who want to stand out.
