Which car for a small Scottish business?

"My wife has a small cleaning business and many of her clients are in farm houses. This means Scottish country roads, farms tracks etc. Should I consider a small, proper 4x4 or will one of these new crossover types with high ride height do just the same? What are your thoughts on a second hand Dodge Nitro or Jeep Compass?"
Nitro is a fuel hungry monster. She probably needs something like a Suzuki Grand Vitara SWB, SX4 4WD or Swift 4WD or FIAT Panda 4WD.

Does this car really have a full service history?

"I was looking to buy a Dodge Nitro 2.6 CRD SXT from a dealer. It's three years old, has done 36,000 miles, and claims to have 'full Service History'. Looking at the logbook, the first two services were done at the main dealer, which is fine. However, the last one at 34k just has a stamp which says something along the lines of 'Serviced to dealer standard'. No garage details or contact numbers. Dealer is trying to tell me he sees this every now and again when owners get the car serviced at Kwik Fit and the like... Also, for the MoT they don't have the checklist, and are saying that if there were any issues it would be listed on the main page. Dealer looks relatively polished as dealerships go. Should I be worried? "
Treat it as if it has not had the third service and value it accordingly.

Switching to smaller wheels in a Dodge Nitro

"My Dodge Nitro is shod with 245/50/20 tyres but at £300 per tyre I'd like to put a different size of wheel and tyre to make it more cost effective. What size can I downsize to without impacting the ABS or handling?"
We simply son't know which wheels will clear the brakes and which tyres will give the same rolling circumference. But as a point of reference (same manufacturer), the current Grand Cherokee has 265/50 R20s on the Overland and 265/60 R18 on the Limited.

What's the UK market value of a 2008 Dodge Nitro?

"I am doctor who lives in Sri Lanka. I would like to know the value of a Dodge Nitro which was made in 2008 before I import it from UK. Can you kindly help me?"
£10,000. Less than half the new list price. They suffered very high depreciation.
