Most Popular Performance Car - Volkswagen Golf R
With 300PS and all-wheel drive, the Golf R is extremely capable - yet nicely subdued compared to it's rivals. Quad exit exhausts, large alloy wheels and smoked rear lenses don't shout power, rather they whisper it.
If you want a performance car that isn't quite as shouty as something like a Ford Focus RS, then the Golf R is your man. It got a lot of attention last year, being the most viewed car in the Performance class on our site.
