Golf diesel with 36000 on clock - a good buy for covering 8000 miles per year?

Just seen a 2016 golf 1.6 diesel with 36,000 on the clock being sold in a Volkswagen Lookers branch for about £12500. Do you think it is worth it? I only cover about 8000 miles a year.

In that case [low mileage], DO NOT BUY A DIESEL. Buy a 1.4TSI.
