Is there a time limit on rejecting a new car as unfit for purpose?

Generally six months unless the main reason for rejection is a fundamental flaw with the car that was always there, in which case the precedent is Clegg v Olle Andersson House of Lords 2003. See: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/
