Is it sensible to buy a used Vauxhall Astra which was previously owned by a disabled driver?
I am looking for a Vauxhall Astra and have found a 2007 model which only has 11,000 miles on the clock. The bodywork needs some attention but I am worried that, as the owner has only driven 11,000 in three years, this might have had an effect on the engine. The garage tell me that it was used as a disability car.

That's bad news all round. It will have been used as the disabled person's legs and that implies a life of short runs, many from cold and a lot of steering wheel twirling and changes of gear. Those 11,000 miles could be the equivalent of 110,000 on the motorway.
