Short answer is yes and do so. Should your premium increase as a result, raise a second complaint to your insurer and raise a second complaint with the Financial Ombudsman Service. Every time you complain, if the complaint is valid, the insured get levied with a fee. It is useful leverage with recalcitrant insurers.
