How do I recommission my Mercedes-Benz after two years in a garage?
Two tears ago I threw my (until then) well maintained late 2006 Mercedes E-Class 320 CDI Avantgarde estate with 140K miles into a garage without any preparation. I have recently returned to the country and wish to get it going again. What precautions and preparation do I need to do to minimise any further damage?

Find a local Merceded Benz specialist and have him recommission it. It will almost certainly need a new battery. There could be problems with the brakes, especially if it's a pre-facelift 2006 with Sensotronic braking. See: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/mercedes-benz/e-clas.../
