Some of the electrics don't work in our Ford Ka - but the fuses are fine. Any ideas?
The four switches for the air con, heated rear window, air circulation and rear fog lights have all failed at the same time on our Ford Ka. My step daughter noticed 'smoke' coming from the panel but this stopped when she switched the car off. The car now runs fine but without the four functions. I've checked the fuses to no avail. Any suggestions?

Reads like a short circuit electrical fire, so the dash needs to be stripped and all the components replaced. Strange that the fuse did not blow, but even if it had, replacing it would not solve the problem that caused it to blow.
