I cover about 10,000 miles per year, mostly journeys of 50+ miles. I need a 4x4 to negotiate muddy/slippery tracks and to tow a trailer. I'm looking at the 2007 diesel Honda CR-V with 70,000 recorded miles because this is the better towing car than the petrol. I'll wait for the Spring Budget outcome because there will no doubt be some penalties for motorists. I believe all diesels have DPFs. Would you consider the CR-V a good buy for my use and what would you look for when buying one?
