What do I do if the dealer who sold me a faulty car refuses to respond to my refund request?

I purchased a faulty car from a garage and, after discovering this, told the garage that I wanted a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 because the car is not fit for purpose. We only had the car for one day but they aren't responding to the request for a refund. What steps should I take to have the car collected and get my refund?

This explains: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/ Obviously if the dealer is a low life scumbag then it may not matter that you get a County Court judgement against him. You then have to apply for a High Court Enforcement order for his assets to the value of your claim to be seized, but if he has no assets and has done a bunk there's nothing legal you can do.
