Can I cancel my Mercedes-Benz GLC delivery because of the steering issues?

I have ordered a new Mercedes-Benz GLC 250d AMG line vehicle and expected it to be delivered by the end of January 2017. Just yesterday, I became aware of the issues raised by many on wheel crabbing. I am very much concerned on hearing this matter and I am contemplating cancelling my order. What are my rights at this stage? I have paid £1000 deposit and signed the vehicle order form in December 2016. Not sure whether the problem is affecting all the Mercedes-Benz GLC vehicles? Please advise on any options. I did like the vehicle, appears great in all other aspects.

You cannot cancel your order on this basis. However, when the vehicle arrives you can demand to check how it drives on 3/4 to full lock and if it crabs on 3/4 lock you can refuse to take delivery on the grounds that the vehicle is "not of satisfactory quality". You have strengthened rights to do this under The Consumer Rights Act 2015, but I have to warn you this has not yet been fully tested in court.
