Can I put Goodyear Vector 4 seasons tyres on my Volkswagen Up?

I note your recommendation of Goodyear Vector 4 seasons for a Vectra - does this also apply to a Volkswagen Up - and do the insurance company need to be advised?

Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons Gen 2 are very good tyres, second only to Michelin Cross Climates. As long as the tyres are the same size as originally came on the car they do not count as a 'modification'.
