Why is my auto-stop system cutting out?
I bought my Hyundai Tucson Premium in 2016. Three months into ownership the auto-stop system is cutting off once a week, making it uneconomical to drive. After two days the system comes back as it should. I make 48mpg in town but when the system cuts off I only make 24mpg. This is only 2WD. Took the car to Hyundai service twice and they said there is nothing wrong with it. Now I'm considering selling it.

There's nothing wrong with it. Your problem is simply that you are not driving sufficient distance to put enough charge into the battery for the system to operate effectively.
