What is the best small car for short journeys?

What would you advise is the best small car to buy? Such as the Nissan Note/Micra, Peugeot 108, Hyundai i10, Kia Picanto, or Vauxhall Corsa. The car would cover approx 6000 miles per year on short journeys.

Definitely not a Note or a Micra (the Micra is about to be replaced by an altogether much better Renault based car). A Peugeot 1.0 or Citroen C1 are okay with the 1.2 Puretech engine. Less lively with the 1.0 litre engine shared with the Aygo. The Hyundai i10 1.25 would be my choice, followed by the Picanto 1.25. Not impressed with the new Corsa 1.0. Thought that the Viva went better.
