What is a reasonable discount to expect on an ex-demo vehicle?

I'm looking to buy an ex-demo car. I've seen a Hyundai Santa Fe 2.2 CRDI Blue Drive Premium SE auto with seven-seats. The dealer is offering it at £32,500, an 18.7 per cent discount off the list price. The car has 2000 miles on the clock.

or

Hyundai Tucson 2.0 CRDI 185 Premium SE Auto, with five-seats and 4000 miles on the clock. Price is £30,000 with a discount of 6.2 per cent off list price.

My rule of thumb used to be 25 per cent for an ex-demo vehicle but I may be out of touch. Which would you buy?

I wouldn't go for either. Don't like the sluggish autos on Santa Fes, Sorentos, Sportages and Tucsons. Manuals far better. But better anyway to go to drivethedeal.com or carwow.co.uk or coast2coastcars.co.uk and get a discount on a brand new car.
