How can I protect my Jaguar XF from kerb damage?

I have a 2011 Jag XF S 3.0D. With the fitted low profile tyres I find I hit the wheel rims on the kerbs too often. I would like to fit smaller wheels, higher profile tyres to reduce/eliminate the problem. What wheels/tyre sizes should I fit and do you think my insurer would raise the premiums if I did so? The smallest wheel size is 17-inch. Basic wheel and tyre size: 17" with 235/55 R17 99W tyres.

Next size 18" with 245/45 R18 100W tyres. Next size 19" with 245/40 R19 98Y tyres. Next size 20" with 255/35 R20 97Y front and 285/30 R20 99Y rear tyres. You will need to disclose to your insurer the change of wheel and tyres size, but I don't think they will regard tyhis as a 'modification' that increases your premium.
