Does the Ford Focus auto use a torque converte gearbox?

I am looking at a nearly new Ford Focus 1.5-litre EcoBoost auto (either 150PS or 182PS) and am trying to establish which type of gearbox it has. I think it has always had a six-speed torque converter (unlike the 1.0 which has only just got this 'box due to probs with the Powershift twin-clutch), but can't find any info confirming as much.

Assuming they've always had the torque-converter, is it any good? Seem to be very few tests of them, but guess it's the same as the V40 1.5T with Geartronic?

Yes, the 1.5T Ecoboost always had the six-speed torque converter auto that first appeared in the Tourneo Connect 1.6 Ecoboost 150. Have yet to hear of any problems with it.
