Does my Ford Focus have a dual mass flywheel issue?

My 2013 Ford Focus diesel has developed a knocking sound on the gear change between 1st-2nd-3rd. The car has also started making vibrations through the whole car when at idle speed too, it gets to the point where you start to feel sick. I have taken the car to the main dealer and they have said this is normal.

As a fully qualified motor vehicle technician, with 20 years experience, I disagree. In fact, this is far from normal and feels like a dual mass flywheel issue. What do you think?

I agree with you, it must be a dual mass flywheel issue. Drivetrain issues have plagued this model. Could have a clutch slave cylinder leak, but the knocking is likely to be the action of the sprung dual mass flywheel.
