What's the difference between Volkswagen's Golf and the Golf Plus?
I am retired, 74 years old, and drive about 13,000 miles per annum. This is leisure driving, country lanes to motorways and all roads in between. I drive a Golf Mk4. When I come to replace it, putting aside price considerations, for what reasons should I consider a Golf Plus rather than another standard Golf?

You should certainly consider it - test drive both back-to-back and see which suits you best. The Golf Plus is essentially a Golf, but has extra headroom and a bit more space in the back.
