Is the mk1 Honda Jazz a reliable car?
I want to buy a used Honda Jazz (mk1), with a manual or automatic gearbox. Do you recommend this car at all? If so, which engine is best for economy and reliability?

The CVT-7 is higher geared and therefore is more economical. But 2001-2008 are now old cars with a slightly complicated eight plug iDSI engine so you can't expect them to be as reliable as they were eight years ago. I'd say a first generation Toyota Yaris 1.0 or 1.3 is probably a bit more reliable.
